Link links update

Hi All
Well I broke down and bought the paid version of Zeus my link program. After using the free version Of Zeus for almost a year I broke down and bought the paid version. This is the best linking program I have seen.
Hits are way up sales are up and getting better evry week. The paid version has a lot more bells and whistles than the free version which I have been working on. The only thing I wish I had bought the paid version of Zeus a long time ago.

New programs update and new links

Hi all Well its the end off August summer is almost over. (sigh) I had to close comments because I was getting spammed with garbage ads sad to say.

July update and lots of news

Holiday time is here and I have taken a few weeks off of blogging and work. So here is a update for July which for the last few years has been the slowest month of the year for all of my sites, turned out tobe a good month.! Zeus my link directory program has been working like a well oiled machine.
My website Romantic at Heart Personals now has a google PR rating of 5 and lots of sub pages are a rank of 5 as well. Visitor traffic is up to all sites and sales are up as well. Our free chat pages are up as well with lots more chatters on the site.
I have added more business articles to by Business section some great ideas and views on running online business and what you need to know if you are thinking of starting a online business.
I have also added some more romance articles to Romantic at Heart Personals

Links Links and more links

If you have a website and do not have a link exchange on your site you are missing the boat. I stated my link directory 8 months ago now, and has it ever made a difference to my overall traffic and sales.
My traffic has more than doubled since I started this project, with sales up 45 percent. My site traffic sits at Webrings at 45 % link exchange at 35% and search engines at 20% so as you can see my link exchange has gone from 0% 8 months ago to be in second place now and growing.

I have my site Romantic at Heart Personals broken down to 6 main areas 1 being personals which is linked off of my homepage my shopping mall, my Business idea and articles, romance articles ,Best and worst pickup lines and last but not least my link directory. As well I have smaller areas that run off of my homepage.

I have also just added our own personals site to the mix which seems to be growing everyday.

So if you need a good link direct program please try the free version of Zeus to start to see if you like it as much as I do. There good benefits from the paid version that do not work on the free version like the audit theme does not work on the free version and some of the editing options do not work on the free version.
If you do try the free version you will want to upgrade to the paid version after a month or so as it is a great program and you will want all the benefits from the paid version of Zeus

Well I had better get back to work I have a lot of emails from folks thats want to trade links so I had better get back to it. So if you have not started a link exchange on your site there is no better time than the present so get at it .! You will be amazed how work it works.

Month of May the best ever

Well the month of May is gone and the news for me is great. Traffic rates are up and so are the sales rates.Romantic at Heart has had a great deal more visitors in May, and also made ot to #1 on Google for the search word of Romantic at Heart . My other key words are getting better.

Link directory versus search engines

The answer to this question might surprise you. Search engines and fighting to get a top ranking on them is the goal of most folks doing business on the net, but how to do this remains the million dollar question, but should it be ????

The truth be told you will get more targeted visitors with a good link directory than you will with the search engines. With the link directory you get targeted traffic as you have linked to same topic sites, where as the search engines are much more general.

Since I started my link directory 6 months ago, I am now getting more constant hits from my links directory than I am the search engines, even though I have good keyword rankings on the major search engines.

A good links directory is a win win situation as back links( links from other sites that point to yours) will help your ranking on the search engines. If you do not have a links directory on your website you should really try one. You can do it by hand or get a link directory program such as the one I use called Zeus , which ever which way you choose start today and improve your traffic for good.
I am now in month 7 of building my directory and I am very pleased with the results so far. I have talked to many folks who have done this and they said it took them about 18 months to get their directorys to the point they are happy with them.

I like the Zeus program because it automates alot of the work including an Audit feature ( only in the paid version) which will check to make sure that your link is still on the other site.

Do not get me wrong search engines are a great way of getting traffic to your site, but if you add a link directory as well you have a win win situation. Links will get you more traffic pure and simple.

All is going well Zeus is running well and I have traded links with 200 more sites. Traffic gets better every week. Sales are getting better as well.

Added new articles on my Business page

Hi all
I have just added 5 new articles on my Business help and Opps page. You can read them all here . There are some great articles that will give you some help with your online Business.
A Zeus update the program is still working well, as is finding new sites to look at all the time. Google finally has found some more of my links and they now say that I have a 102 backlinks the real number is 412 so far.Maybe someday they will catch up.
I have been running Zeus for 4 months now and I have to say that I am very pleased with the results. My sites daily visitors are now doubled from 4 months ago and are nearly 4 times more than last Febuary.
I hope this trend continues for the 4 months as well.
Sales are more varied than they were before as well, which in the long run will be great.
I am trying to add new content to my site as well every 2 weeks, to try and get the search engines to come back more often as well.You can have a look at my site Romantic at Heart Personals It has become a huge site as I know have 18 sets of personals a large shopping mall , as well as best and worst pickup lines,chat rooms,advice page,as well as our link directory and last but not least my Business site as well.

trading Links the right way

When you get an e-mail from a webmaster wanting to trade links, and you loot at there site and add the link to your link list always e-mail the person back and tell them you are adding there link.
A great number of those webmaster including myself raise sites to link partner if they know you have traded links. Zeus audit fuction for example just checks that there is a link and does not make upgrade your listing to link partner which in the case of Zeus brings your link to near the top of the page.
You will find that you will get more visitors from many of theses sites you trade links with if you let them know you have added there link.
Many times if you do not let the person know that you have linked back to them and where you have done so, they will remove your link after awhile thinking you are not interested in trading links.
To see an example of what I mean have a look at my Dating personals link page you will notice that my link partners are near the top while the others are much farther down the page.

Google backlinks and PR numbers

Well I am pleased today when I found that Google now says I have another 30 backlinks. Just wish they could find the other hundreds of links out there that point to my site.They now say I have 60 backlinks to my site the real number is 345, which is not that many yet but I am working on it.
As for Google PR numbers they have to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen. They used to make some sense but as of last summer they make no sense. I have been looking at thousands of sites in the last 4 months and the google rating on these sites makes no sense.
I have seen PR 6 sites with no content and 1 link to another site and other sites with tons of on topic content with a PR 2 and PR 3 rating.
I do Google searches and then check the PR rating for the sites and find some of the sites that show up high on a search have a very low PR rating and sites that have a high rating showing up very deep on the list. This seems to make no sense to at all.
This is one of the main reasons I have started pushing myself to make my link directory. If you have hundreds if not thousands of link partners of similar websites you will get more visitors to your site.Getting more steady traffic to your site not relying on search engines that keep changing the way they do things. That is not to say that search engines are a bad thing getting hits from both are great but linking will get you more steady visitor traffic to your site day in and day out.

The site I have been pushing is here you will notice I list my link directory 2 times on my home page The fairy tale that every visitor will buy from you is just that. Visitors are going to look at your site but at some point they are going to leave. I want them to go to sites that have linked to me. We hope they have spent some money on my site before they leave.
When trading links watch out for sites that make it hard to find there link pages as these are the type of sites that you will get little to no traffic from. These types of sites are fine to trade links with if you want to improve your back links with the search engine but do not count on sales from these sites.
You want to trade links with sites that are not afraid of showing there link page link where there visitors can see it. Well that's it for now. Time to refill the 7-11 Pepsi cup

Another month gone bye bye

Well another month has gone by and I am happy to report more visitors than ever before. I have to say that I am very pleased the way my link directory program Zeus is working. Zeus is the only promotion I have been using on my site since last July and I have to say I have more than doubled the number of visitors since I started.
I have also seen a 150 percent increase in downline members on most of my affiliate programs as well.

As for sales I have just had the best January I have ever had online. It is slow growing but since starting this link directory (you can see it here )every month has been a little better than the month before.

I have set an 18 month goal for this directory to work well enough for me to be able to make a full time living online time will tell if I will meet this goal but so far so good can see the website that I am promotions with the link director here Romantic at Heart Personals

When I got online 10 years ago 1994 yes I have been online that long all you really had to do was build a website and people would come. Boy times have changed. You can see my first website here The Passion PitI still make money with this site but not as much as I used to.
